Garage Sale Finds!

Hello Scrappers and Friends! Sorry it has been so long since I've posted. I have been reorganizing my scrapbook room so that I can hopefully fit a larger craft table in there. But this weekend my mother asked me if I wanted to go to garage sales because a near by town was having their town-wide garage sales, so of course I said yes! Never know what you find at garage sales.

These were at the first garage sale we went to. I knew she had stamps last year so I was looking forward to her sale this year. Paid $24 for all these!
I have never seen little embossing folders like these before. I just had to have them because they were so cute!

Then my mom and I went into town and searched for a few sales before we had to go to work. We were driving by this one yard sale where a lady only had a few tables set up and was just about to keep going but something caught my eye. I thought I seen the wooden blocks of stamps, so I told her to turn around and I was right, stamps...and more stamps! I started looking at all of them to decided which ones I liked and she had them marked individually so I asked what she would take for all of them and she said she wasn't sure, I think I caught her off guard. Then she said "$15 okay?". Best deal ever! There are some clear stamps and acrylic blocks in the back and I also got 2 things of red embossing powder $1 for both.

Seems like everyone was getting rid of their stamps because that is all I found this weekend. Which I don't mind, but wow.. I'm going to need more storage now for all my wooden stamps.

We decided to go a town over to where I live and look for sales, sadly even though it was so nice outside there were only a few sales. One garage sale though had more stamps! Plus all their stuff was 1/2 off! Paid $14 for this set. Couldn't pass it up!

Overall we had a successful time at garage sales this last weekend and this is only the beginning of the season. Hope you all get some great deals this summer! Have a Splendid crafty time!
